  This is the best Best Western we have stayed in in Canada. Building is newer and modern, rooms modern, clean and bed very comfortable. Loved the breakfast which was a decided notch above the usual. Staff were friendly and efficient. We will make this an annual event!

  I love it. Has everything! Gym, pool, hot tub, complimentary breakfast, nice rooms, cleanliness. It might sound a bit strange but I found the lighting to be very nice, set a great tone throughout the building. They also give out small lunch starters at the front desk that come with a fresh piece of fruit, a granola bar and a small bottled water. Coffee and tea 24 hrs, and even have a crew to clean up for night shift guests. The parking lot is pretty big but won't fit anything more than a pickup+trailer, which should be fine for most people. The hotel is also located directly beside a Shell Station/A&W if you need to grab anything extra. This hotel makes me hope I get to work out here again!

  We booked a block of rooms for our wedding in June, 2017 including a room for myself to stay at the night before the big day - so we were spending a lot of money at the hotel. First impressions were quickly soured when, after months of planning and stress, I finally was able to get to the hotel around 11pm Friday night but was turned away. To say I was shocked was an understatement. I was scheduled to have hair and makeup done the next morning at the room and had been in touch with the staff multiple times during planning to make sure everything was in place. Although they checked me in I was immediately required to check out because the staff refused to allow me to have my dog stay with me. You see, circumstances changed last minute as they often do when planning a wedding and I had my senior pup with me. She's far better behaved than some of the hotel guests they've likely allowed to stay there. Further, I completely understand a hotel having a pet policy but because it was the night before our wedding, it was late at night and other hotels in town were booked, I thought maybe they'd be willing to be a little flexible to help me out on this one important night. Apparently they don't care about their customers because the answer was a solid NO! Not only did they refuse me to stay there they didn't lift a finger to help me out at all. Anyone who has planned a wedding should be able to relate because by the night before rolls around you're pretty worn out and just need a peaceful sleep before the craziness of the following day. Needless to say this hotel comes highly NOT recommended by me because they didn't help me out when I needed it the most. It's taken me this long to write this review because I'm still fuming and shocked. Thanks for a terrible experience I'll never forget.

  The Best Western in Sundre has been by far one of the best we have stayed at. the hotel itself is very well maintained, the staff are courteous, accommodating and very helpful with any questions you may have. This was a great staycation outing!
