Great look back into time. A lot of great stuff from days past, that your parents or grand parents used, like we use a cell phone now. No second thoughts, just the way it was and with a section covering animals (stuffed) from around the world. Very formative young lady to show you around and tell you what and where they came from. A true blacksmith to explain his trade. Well worth pausing to take a look.

Great taste of local history. Love the trapper's cabin! Wonderful to have this local museum to explore with the whole family.

What a gem! We needed to waste some time before our check-in time in Rocky Mountain House so stopped here. You have really friendly and knowledgeable museum staff on hand, the exhibits are informative and there is so much detail in everything, and the wildlife exhibit is stunning. Well worth the stop.

Good way to spend a quiet day if you're in the area. Standard artifacts of pioneer life in Alberta. Nice layout and when I went we were the only ones there. The parade of stuffed animals is a bit odd but it's well presented
